About Jeff Weinman, Producer and Moderator:

Jeff Weinman’s journey is as diverse and captivating as the stories he shares. Throughout his colorful life, Jeff has worn many hats—professional musician, restaurant baker and chef, entertainer, writer, and the proud owner of Weinman Restoration LLC, a nationally and NYC-regionally acclaimed historic preservation contracting firm, which he successfully ran for 35 years.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jeff’s personal life has been marked by resilience. A survivor of head and neck cancer, he emerged from the challenges of his medical treatment with a newfound passion: storytelling. During his recovery, Jeff discovered storytelling as a theatrical art form and joined the vibrant On the Fly Story Slam group based in the Hudson Valley. Inspired by this creative community, he founded Ya Can’t Make This Up to share his own unique experiences and stories.

Now residing in East Haven with his sweetheart Debbie and their three cats, Jeff continues to entertain audiences with his true, compelling stories. When he’s not storytelling, Jeff enjoys playing ragtime piano professionally, fishing, cooking, barbecuing, and indulging in his interests in skepticism, vaudeville, magicians, classic cinema, and the musical arts.
